STATEMENT OF FAITH

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God and is without error.
• We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe God created man in His own image, and that man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also the spiritual death of separation from God.
• We believe that all people are eternally lost and need to be saved from the penalty and power of sin.
• We believe that all people will be resurrected, either to life or to judgment.
• We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed signs and miracles, took upon Himself the punishment for our sins by laying down his life on the cross, was raised from the dead by God, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and is coming again.
• We believe that Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection provide the only way of salvation, which is received by all who believe in Him, repent of their sins, and trust Him as their Savior.
• We believe that all who have put their faith in Jesus Christ belong to the Body of Christ, His Church.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit is ever present and active to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to strengthen Christ’s followers with power in their inner being for life and service to God.
• Because of our desire to glorify God and the nature of working with youth, we believe and personally practice abstinence from pre-marital or extra-marital sex, cohabitation, homosexuality, and controlling or damaging drugs.
• We seek to glorify God in everything we do by obeying His Word and by seeking to live a life worthy both of the calling we have received and of being imitated by others.
